NYC Comedy Troupe FUCT Joins the Fight!

NYC is known for its comedy. Saturday Night Live, Caroline’s, and Upright Citizen’s Brigade are just a few of the staples that make comedy a tradition in New York City. The latest troupe to generate a buzz are performing underground comedy in June at The Cherry Lane Theatre in the city’s West Village, and are aptly named, FUCT.

The FUCT brand of humor incorporates sketch comedy, painful antics, and an underground style that leaves the audience wanting to be FUCT again. The troupe recently joined forces with www.HappyUniverse.com in an effort to promote the Happy Universe mission to leverage the fun side of sex against the serious side of sexual health and education. The Global Fund.

You may have heard about the recent “RED” campaign. It is a partnership of different organizations that distribute goods under the (PRODUCT) RED trademark to raise awareness and money to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. (RED) was actually created by Bono and Bobby Shriver, Chairman of DATA to raise money for The Global Fund. Similar to the Happy Universe concept, (RED) donates a portion of every purchase to the Fight Against AIDS.

Sex Toy Inventory

I’m no expert. There are many so-called sexperts out there and possibly some legitimate sex related professionals. I, however, am no expert. I just happen to have a good deal of adult paraphernalia, a decent sense of humor, and a penchant for not working in an office. These are a few of the things that make my universe happy, and my inventory tells me that my Happy Universe is also a lot of fun.

It is important to take an inventory every now and again. The minimum should be once a year. It is spring time, so let’s do a spring cleaning. Now off to the ol’ collection to gather the inventory…

Well, I guess my list isn’t super impressive. In fact, I’m sure there are some of you with inventories that make mine look bleak. Whether you have a collection of none, one, or many, the inventory is important for the following three reasons:

1. Trash - Dump the old. Toys get dirty, worn out, and some even break. If your rubber looks dull, or your motor is out, chuck it. You can replace your toy if it is a favorite, or get an upgrade.

2. Ignite a Spark - mmmm, remember when? Taking inventory can be a nostalgic walk down sex toy memory lane. Grab your spouse and lay all of your toys out on the bed. You are bound to have a laugh that might end in some love.

3. Fill the Gaps - What’s missing? Do you have a rack of vibrators, but no masturbators? Sounds a little unfair to me gents. Is there a stack of porn, but no waterproof rabbit vibrators for the little lady? Tsk tsk. My wife and I were hanging out one night chit-chatting about starting an internet business to once and for all eliminate our regular 9-5 grinds. She is a medical professional and I am an entrepreneur and comedian in NYC. We wanted to launch something that would add a little fun and joy to the world. It was that night that Happy Universe was born.
